Copy and Paste

Use the Copy and Paste options to reproduce the settings of a selected device on another existing identical type of device.

Copying and Pasting

1. In the IP Link® Tree window, select a device.

2. From the Edit menu, select Copy.

3. Select an existing identical type of device.

4. From the Edit menu, select Paste.

Copy Selected Device

Use the Copy Selected Device option to copy the settings of the selected device and paste them to multiple existing identical devices.

This command is useful if you add several identical devices with the same settings.

To copy the selected device:

1. In the IP Link Tree window, select a device.

2. From the Edit menu, select Copy Selected Device.  The Copy Selected Device screen opens.

3. Select the desired device.  To select multiple devices, hold the <Shift> key on your keyboard while selecting the desired devices.

4. Click OK.  The copied settings are pasted to all of the selected devices simultaneously.
