Manage Touch Panel Layouts

The Manage Touch Panel Layouts option lets you import or remove TouchLink™ templates.  You can also view details as to where the layout is applied.

Importing a Layout

  1. From the Tools menu, select Manage Touch Panel Layouts.  This opens a window listing all of the layouts in the project.

  2. Click Import.  The Import Touch Panel Layout dialog box opens.

  3. In the Import From section, select Touch Panel to import a layout from a touchpanel or select Disk to import a layout from a saved location on your PC.

If you select Touch Panel:

  1. In the Name/IP Address field, enter the name or IP address of the touchpanel.

  2. Enter the touchpanel password if necessary.

If you select Disk:

  1. In the Path to Config field, select Browse and locate the TGZ file.

  1. Click OK.  The Import Touch Panel Layout screen closes and the imported layout is added to the list in the Available Layouts section.

In the Available Layouts list, you have the option to show only layouts that have not been assigned to a touchpanel.  To do so, select the Show only unused layouts check box.

To view where a selected layout is applied, select the layout in the Available Layouts section and click the Where Used button.  The Where Used dialog box opens, providing the names of the touchpanel and associated controller.
