Inline SWP123 Presentation Switcher Offers Three Switchers in One Box

Anaheim, California (March 10, 2003) – The Inline SWP123 Presentation Switcher combines three independent four input, one output AV switchers and a Program Audio switcher into one compact enclosure. With a computer video with stereo audio switcher, an S-video with stereo audio switcher, and a composite video with stereo audio switcher all rolled into one box, the SWP123 is a cost-effective solution for streamlining presentation environments that usually require three separate switchers. The SWP123 features 450 MHz (-3dB) of RGB video bandwidth, advanced audio features, and flexible control capability through RS-232/422/485 for third party control systems or IR control via the optional Inline CTL120 Infrared Remote Control. A key feature of the SWP123 is its audio capability. It is equipped with a Program Audio switcher which enables it to switch stereo audio between all of the sources and a microphone input. The Program Audio switcher is also able to take unbalanced audio signals and convert them over to balanced audio signals. Advanced audio features include volume control and mute for the Program Audio output, individual audio input trim levels, and a microphone input. The microphone input offers adjustable level, an XLR input connector, and +24V phantom power for condenser microphones. It also features a "Talk Over" mode, which lowers the Program Audio level whenever there is a signal present at the microphone input. This allows the presenter's voice to be heard clearly over the audio accompaniment. The "Talk Over" threshold adjustment determines the input signal level required to engage the "Talk Over" function. It takes into account microphone output level, voice volume, and ambient background noise level to select the optimal level of operation.
