Extron Promotes Jeff Gibson to Vice President of Sales

Anaheim, California (May 19, 2000) - Extron Electronics is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeff Gibson to Vice President of Sales. In this position, Jeff will continue to oversee all domestic and international sales and technical support in Extron's USA, Europe, and Asia offices. These responsibilities he has held for the past year as Director of Sales. In his new position, Jeff will be more involved with product development, marketing, and building the sales force in the three offices to secure the future of Extron in all of its geographical markets. His efforts will especially emphasize building the Europe and Asia sales infrastructures. Jeff has been with Extron for more than five years, holding the positions of Regional Sales Manager and National Sales Manager before being promoted to Director of Sales in 1999. He has also overseen the company's efforts in the areas of dealer training, internal training, marketing, and trade show participation.
