MLC Plus 200 AAP

1. Provide an Ethernet enabled, five-gang pushbutton controller for the purpose of remotely controlling, monitoring and troubleshooting connected AV equipment and AV systems.
   1. Configuration-based, mountable, Ethernet enabled controller with button panel interface.
      1. Device shall have a total of ten dual color LED backlit buttons, by default eight for input selection and the remaining two for power.
         1. Buttons shall illuminate white or red, depending on function, for ease of use in low-light environments.
         2. Buttons shall feature removable button caps allowing them to be custom labeled for easy identification.
      2. Device shall provide a rotary encoder knob located in the bottom left of the panel that can be configured to control the audio level of an AV system.
      3. Device shall feature eight white LEDs arranged vertically located adjacent to the rotary encoder. When configured, these LEDs shall provide visual feedback to reflect the relative of the audio level of the AV system.
      4. Device shall have an opening for up to four single space AAP - Architectural Adapter Plates for providing additional AV connectivity.
      5. Provide two configurable RS-232 ports on captive screw connectors located on the back of the controller that can be configured for unidirectional or bidirectional control of AV system components.
      6. Device shall have an IR port on captive screw connector located on the back of the controller for auxiliary AV device control. This port shall allow the control of two devices using an dual IR emitter.
      7. Provide a remote volume control port located on the back of the controller that can be used to control the volume on Extron’s MPA Series and select XTRA™ Series amplifiers.
      8. Provide one digital input on captive screw connector located on the back of the controller that can be used to interface with devices such as sensors, switches.
      9. Provide two configurable low voltage relays on captive screw connectors located on the back of the controller that can be configured to control lighting, screen control or other device functions.
      10. Device shall include a 12 volt captive screw connection located on the back of the controller used to power the product with an optional universal power supply.
      11. Device shall have a female RJ-45 jack located on the back of the controller that supports 10/100/1000Base-T, half/full duplex with auto-detect for connection to a LAN or WAN and includes link and activity LED indicators located on the left and right of the jack for troubleshooting network issues as well as supports PoE- Power over Ethernet, 802.3af.
      12. Device shall support the following protocols: ICMP (ping), IP, TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, NTP, SFTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSH.
      13. Device shall have the following memory available, at minimum:
          1. SDRAM
             1. 512 MB
          2. Flash
             1. 512 MB
      14. Device shall include a multi-function button that allows for the reset of the device or its communication properties at minimum.
      15. Device shall be Section 508 compliant and shall meet or exceed U.S. accessibility standards for Electronic Information Technology.
      16. Supports a web-based AV resource management application that provides a means to manage, monitor, and control AV equipment.
      17. Provide an internal real-time clock with backup battery that is used to keep track of the date and time.
      18. Device shall be controllable using an iPad that is running an iPad App as a secondary point of control.
      19. Device shall include both white and black magnetically-attached faceplates.
   2. Mounting requirements
      1. Device shall have the ability to be mounted directly in a wall, lectern, or other flat surface and shall be able to be secured using the supplied mud ring and hardware.
      2. Device shall have the ability to be mounted to the surface of a wall using an optional wall box.
   3. Software requirements
      1. Device shall be configured using Global Configurator Plus or Global Configurator Professional with support for the following:
         1. Provide remote monitoring and control via Ethernet
         2. Provide the ability to create E-mail notifications
         3. Provide the ability to create schedules and monitors
         4. Supports up to 4 / 8 Ethernet-controllable AV devices
   4. Shall meet regulatory compliances
