The Extron TP T AV video transmitter accepts NTSC, PAL, SECAM composite video and stereo audio, and transmits the signals 1,000 feet (300 meters) or more over Category 5, 5e, or 6 shielded twisted pair or unshielded twisted pair cable to an Extron twisted pair composite video receiver.

The TP T AV inputs composite video on a female RCA connector. It receives stereo audio on two female RCA connectors. The TP T AV video transmitter outputs composite video and stereo audio on an RJ-45 female connector.

Transmission of digital audio is also possible using the video channel. Optional mounting kits allow the TP T AV video transmitter to be mounted under or through a desk surface. The through-desk mount keeps inputs accessible while keeping the power and output connections out of sight.
