Toolbar Icons

There are nine icons in the Global Configurator toolbar (1).

The function of each icon is described below.

New

Create a new Global Configurator project file.

See the New section for more information.

Open

Open an existing Global Configurator project file.

See the Open section for more information.

Save

Save the current Global Configurator project file.

See the Save section for more information.

Paste

Paste the settings of a previously copied device to an existing identical type of device.

See the Copy and Paste section for more information.

Copy

Copy the settings of the selected device to the clipboard.  After the settings are copied they can be pasted to an already existing identical type of device using the Paste icon.

Paste New

Use Copy and Paste New to add a new identical device with identical settings in the IP Link Tree window.

Build All Configurations

The Build All Configurations option compiles configuration data for all devices in the GC file, including data for devices previously compiled and uploaded to a GlobalViewer host device.

Build Changed Configurations

The Build Changed Configurations option compiles  configuration data only for devices that have been added or changed since the previous Build  cycle.

Devices that have been added or changed since the previous Build  cycle are identified by a red border around their icon in the IP Link Tree window.
