Jim Clements Promoted to Director of Education and Training

Anaheim, California (March 1, 2000) - Extron Electronics is pleased to announce the promotion of Jim Clements to Director of Education and Training. In his new role, Jim will oversee all Extron training efforts, including Extron School, Extron School on the Road, Extron Distance Learning, and Extron Regional Application Specialists. Jim will also be responsible for researching and implementing the most advanced trends in both the AV and training industries, and he will be interfacing with industry associations. Extron Electronics' Director of Sales, Jeff Gibson explains, "Jim has proven his leadership and training skills while managing Extron's Training Team. With the upcoming opening of our state-of-the-art training center, Jim and his team will continue to keep Extron at the forefront of dealer support through AV education and training." Jim has made significant contributions as Extron's Manager of Education and Training. Prior to joining Extron, Jim retired from the U.S. Navy after two decades as an Aviation Electronics Technician. During his time with the Navy, Jim developed an extensive training background, specializing in technical and management training, that he has been very effective using at Extron.
