Anaheim, California (January 24, 2020) - Extron is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the USBC-HDMI SM and USBC‑DP SM Show Me Cables for the company’s popular TeamWork 4K collaboration system. The cables provide the user interface for USB‑C sources, allowing USB-C connections along with HDMI, DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort, or VGA sources within the same furniture system and enclosure. The USBC‑HDMI SM provides easy USB‑C source selection with connectivity to an HDMI input on a TeamWork switcher while the USBC‑DP SM allows USB-C source connectivity to a DisplayPort input in a TeamWork collaboration system. The operation is simple and intuitive: Connect the Show Me cable to your source device and press the Share button to share your content on the main presentation display.

Extron TeamWork USB-C Show Me cables are engineered for long life and reliability in schools, libraries, conference rooms, and other high-utilization environments. These cables, available in six-foot (1.8 m) and twelve-foot (3.6 m) lengths, allow transmission of digital signals from USB-C sources that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode to HDMI or DisplayPort for use with a TeamWork collaboration system switcher. The cables meet section 508 accessibility standards and are certified for use with Extron AVEdge and Cable Cubby enclosures.
